On July 10 and 14, 2017 Massimo Cavalletti returns to the Teatro alla Scala in one of his most performed and beloved roles, that of Marcello in La bohème in Franco Zeffirelli’s historic production. In the same production Massimo made his La Scala debut as Schaunard in 2005 before switching to Marcello in a performance series in 2015.
The stellar cast of this years’ run includes Ailyn Pérez (July 10) and Sonya Yoncheva (July 14) as Mimì, Federica Lombardi as Musetta, Fabio Sartori as Rodolfo, Mattia Olivieri as Schaunard and Gabriele Sagona as Colline. Maestro Evelino Pidò conducts.
